In 2012, one of our favorite campgrounds in NJ was purchased by a new owner. Green Valley Beach, was bought and renamed to The Great Divide Campground. At first we were a little apprehensive of this change. But as we discussed some improvements/changes directly with the new management, we knew they were going to be a great change.
The campground itself is set in the rolling hills of the Skylands region. An beautiful, natural feature within the campground is a large "valley" between a cliff, and a hill. This valley, named the Divide, is of course what inspired the new name. As you will see within our photo gallery (and within the picture below), this Great Divide are is beautiful.
Beyond this amazing section, there are many RV areas, tent areas, seasonal camping, and more. Their facilities are updated this year, and are always clean. The campground itself has activities through the year, over almost all the weekends that they are open.
A few weeks ago, we were asked up to The Great Divide Campground to take some new pictures of the campground. We were very surprised to see all the improvements that GDC has done over the previous owners. Everything is starting to look great. We can't wait to get back and actually stay here for the weekend!
