We never try not to add or allow any 1 sided feelings/opinions onto GetOut. We'll try to keep politics, group agendas, or anything in between off the site, and off our facebook posts. But we would like to share the following:

Go Giants! We are big football fans here at GetOut. And put all our cheers towards the Giants. Tonight's game, along with the season as a whole, was a tough one. But they pulled it out. Congrats!

(beta) "Starts With" Search..

A few months ago we added the "Location Starts With" functionality in our listing directory search. While waiting for the game to start last night, we moved this functionality to the "top" of each GetOut page. It is just in a Beta state right now, meaning that it may not be here forever, and it may not work perfectly, 100% of the time. Either way, it definitely makes like a little easier to find locations like Allaire. We hope to add a few more features in the next few weeks, helping improve GetOut even more.

Four Square, and more..

GetOut has a facebook page that is rather popular. Our Twitter account also does rather well. Tonight we decided to add out Four Square account to the main navigation on each page.

We also started looking into other social media accounts. One of those is pinterest.com. Not totally sure how we'll use it, but we wanted to check it out.

Here are all our current social media sites:

Beyond That..

We also made some changes to the back-end that makes it easier for us to add in listings. This should help us over the next few weeks as we add more content.

Enough for today.. have a great one. - Jeff C
