We Need You

The more that we explore NJ, the more locations we find. The more locations we find, the more we realize that we'll never find them all. This means that we need your help. Do you have a favorite park in your town? A hotspot to go bike that you feel others should know about as well? Or maybe a horse farm that needs some promotion? We hope that you'll send any parks/businesses/locations over to us.

For now, the easiest way to share any information will be to email . Please send me any questions / thoughts / locations/ hikes / bikes that you may have.

Own a business? Looking for some promotion?

Each time someone within the GetOutsideNJ group goes out on a hiking/biking/camping trip, we always try and jot down any park/business/location that is worth mentioning on our little site here. Our list of places to add to the system is Large because of this. But we are always looking for more. And this can work out for many smaller businesses out there looking for some free promotion.

If you own or work for an "outdoorsy" business (like a campground, bike shop, hot air balloon rides, etc), or work with an outdoorsy group (like NJTrails.org and JORBA.org), drop us an email with your contact information. We'll be happy to schedule a time for us to come on out and check out what you have to offer. We'll have our cameras and notebooks ready to go.

What will this get you? Well, by giving us a tour/invite to your location, we'll be able to grab professional photos (which we can discuss sharing back with you), and enough information to share with visitors of the site. We'll also be happy to offer you a free membership to the site, an "enhanced" listing on the site, and ways for you to update your own location within our system. I hate to say that some restrictions do apply, but that is to make sure we are not taken advantage of.
