Abram S. Hewitt State Forest is located in Hewitt, New Jersey. A section of Bearfort Ridge, as well as the Appalachian Trail reaches into Hewitt State Forest, offering hikers a challenging climb with a rewarding view.
A pump track is one of the fastest-growing attractions in biking. It is a continuous dirt loop of rollers and insloped turns, reminiscent of a BMX track but smaller in scale, which can be ridden by cyclists of all ages and skill levels.
Many activities are allowed within the park. Seasonal hunting/fishing, boating (kayaking/roof top launch plus small electric engines), horseback riding, an RC field and seasonal mountain biking (you can only bike during the warmer months).
The Atlantic County Park System has completed the 7.56 mile bike and pedestrian path running from the Shore Mall in Egg Harbor Township to the Atlantic County Vocational Technical School in Hamilton Township also known as the bikeway east.
The forested acres of Belleplain include stands of young pine, oak and Atlantic white cedar, reflecting better soil conditions and less damage by fire than found in the Pine Barrens just north of the forest. Belleplain State Forest was established in

Bunker Hill Bogs is a wildlife recreation area in Jackson, NJ. It was dedicated as an official park in 2009 after many hours of hard work by the Jackson Pathfinders. You will find fishing, paddling, and walking opportunities.
Colliers Mills Wildlife Management Area is located in Ocean County, New Jersey. The WMA is a great example of NJ Pine Barrens habitat and provides a range of natural habitat pitch pine and scrub oak forests, swamps and lakes. Colliers Mill Lake and S
