General Information

Thomas Edison National Historical Park is where Thomas Edison worked and lived from 1886 until his death 1931. It was in the Laboratory Complex that Thomas Edison developed the phonograph, storage battery and motion picture camera. At the Laboratory Complex you can see his library, stockroom, machine shops and music room. The land itself reopened to the public in 2009 after a multi-year closer.
