Middle Township and Lower Township governments are in receipt of a letter recommending that the Freeholders fund an innovative project that will connect bicycle paths in both communities. The letter was delivered Tuesday, April 22 from the Cape May County Open Space Board that has confirmed a recommendation to the Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders to contribute $412,311 to this bike path connector project.

"The recommendation to approve this funding for this project comes as outstanding news for Middle Township, Lower Township and really to the entire county of Cape May", said Middle Township Mayor Tim Donohue. "This recommendation means that Cape May County will have a unique bicycle path that provides ample recreational opportunities to residents and visitors for generations to come".
