It is our pleasure to share with the community that the 2021 Florence Township Patriotic Celebration WILL take place this year on Saturday, July 10th! Over the past several months we’ve worked on a layout for the flag raising ceremony as well as the parade which will be traveling thru the Village of Roebling. Though we had tentatively made plans to safely manage evening activities it wasn’t until recently when restrictions reduced to allow for families to visit our complex to enjoy live music, refreshments and fireworks display. This years activities will be slightly different that what we’ve done in the past, however we must remain cautious and follow suggested protocols and distancing guidelines. Information will be provided to all parade participants and evening activities will be situated with respect to current CDC guidelines. Should you have questions relating to this year’s celebration, please contact the Florence Township Recreation Department. We will post updated information on our website and social media platforms between now and July 10th. On behalf of Mayor Wilkie, Members of Florence Township Council, administration and our annual celebration team we are THRILLED to bring back this event for our community to enjoy.

Summit's Fourth of July is a day-long celebration marked by traditions including the Children's Decorated Bicycle Parade and the Grand Fireworks Display. After last year's success, the Food Truck Festival will welcome a variety of vendors and will be expanded. New evening entertainment will feature The Infernos on the main stage. Carnival rides and children's entertainment will also continue into the night for the second year, purchase a bounce pass and bounce all night long! We hope you will join the tradition and celebrate your Fourth in Summit. Celebrate 73 years with us as we make this years celebration the biggest one Summit has ever seen!
