A Haunted Halloween in Allaire Village! (2013)

The following press release was provided to us by Allaire Village about the events coming up this October..

The Historic Allaire Village, presents Halloween Hayrides on Friday, October 18th, Saturday, October 19th, Friday, October 25th, and Saturday, October 26th, from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. The Halloween Hayride starts in front of the General Store and enters the spooky woods for a trip into Halloween horror. Hayrides are approximately twenty minutes in length and wagons leave every 15 minutes from the General Store.

After the spooky Hayride, take a stroll through our Haunted Village. Scary story-telling will be held in the Carriage House and special Halloween performances will be held in the Allaire Mansion. Other activities include fortune-telling at the Managers House, a spooky Blacksmith visit, and ghost hunting in the Carpenters shop! All are welcomeif you dare! Stop by the Allaire Bakery for hot cider and spooky snacks or visit the General Store and Museum Gift Shop for limited edition Halloween souvenirs and merchandise.

The cost for the hayride is $10 for children under 12, $15/Adults. Tickets are limited so advance purchase is HIGHLYRECOMMENDED. Tickets are for sale by phone 732-919-3500, please have your credit card ready. You can also purchase tickets via PayPal on our website at www.allairevillage.org/tickets. Large group rates are available, please call for more information.

Allaire Village, Inc. receives no state funding towards the educational programming presented throughout the year, but is strongly supported through private donations, membership fees, fund-raising events and patronage of our retailstores. Allaire Village, Inc. received an operating support grant from the New Jersey Historical Commission, a division of the Department of State. In addition, funding for our Interpreters Programs are made possible in part by a grant from the Provident Bank Foundation.
