About The Old Barracks Museum

The Old Barracks was built in 1758 during the French and Indian War. In 1776, it was a witness to the turning point of the American Revolution, when George Washington and 2400 Patriots defeated British and Hessian soldiers at the Battle of Trenton.

The Old Barracks Museum is known for the Battles of Trenton Reenactments during the annual Trenton Patriots Week, but special events occur year-round at the museum.

Hours

  • Monday - Saturday -10 AM - 5 PM
  • Closed: Sundays, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day

Tours

  • Tours are 45 minutes and begin on the hour, the last tour begins at 4 PM.

  • $10 adults
  • $8 students
  • $8 seniors (62+)
  • Free: Old Barracks Museum Members, Active Duty Military Personnel, Children 5 and under
