The ZTrek Bicycling Meetup is a group for both new and experienced cyclists looking to improve their skills and meet new people. They enjoy riding the roads of NJ and the outdoors in general, typically starting and finishing at various locations around central/northern NJ.
ZTrek is also the brains and braun behind the annual ZTrek (http://www.ztrek.org/) charity ride held each year in Central New Jersey. See more details below.
ZTrek thoroughly enjoys riding the roads of NJ and the outdoors in general. We typically start and finish at various locations around central/northern NJ, but we will also participate in rides in other states such as PA, DE and NY.
ZTrek Charity Ride
This event brings in 100+ cyclists from the greater NY metropolitan area as well as a large number of kids that participate in our Kid's Bike Rally. We have events scheduled throughout the day with a variety of touring routes through the beautiful countryside of Somerset and Hunterdon Counties.
ZTrek began in 2008 as a week-long event with 11 hard-core cyclists riding 500 miles from Owensboro, Kentucky to Cincinnati Ohio along the Underground Railroad route. It continued in that same tradition through 2015. In 2016 they changed the format to a one-day event for cyclists of all ages and all abilities with a variety of ride choices. Each year they hope to grow on their previous success.
