Sitting on the Raritan River in the Borough of Highland Park, you will find our 90 acre Donaldson Park. Opened in 1946, it is widely known for its boat ramp and dog park. In 1953, Highland Park held its first Town Outing at the Park. In 2009, the park was totally renovated to accommodate the thousands of park visitors that come and enjoy the park each week. It has a large variety of active and passive recreational facilities including sports fields, playgrounds, and paved trails.
