About Stokes State Forest
Stokes State Forest is famous for its impressive beauty, whether it is at the top of a mountain ridge (Sunrise Mountain Overlook) in the cool and fragrant Tillman Ravinewith its rushing stream and steep cliffs. Hikers, mountain bikers, campers, fishermen, and photographers are attracted to its wild setting.
That is a note shared on the main DEP page for Stokes SF. We included it here because it truly sums up the park. The trail system is well laid out, with miles and miles of trails crisscrossing the park in all directions. The views from the higher locations/ridge are simply amazing. Look for miles into both NJ and over to PA. And their camping facilities great.
