Read moreCheesequake State Park has great hiking, camping, biking (1 trail), swimming areas, fishing area, nature programs and more. The trails are well maintained and well marked. The campground has large sites, and clean bathrooms. Their picnic areas are large with ample room for everyone. That is why we are happy to feature Cheesequake State Park.
Read moreA GetOut visitor emailed us today with a great event that was missing from our calendar! This year, the Freedom Fest State Fair will be held July 10 through July 15th. They have also moved the location back to the Horse Park of NJ.
Read moreMany people that we talk to tell us that they visit Shark River Park at least once a year. Other people have never heard of it. We feel the latter should never be the case. The trails are great to walk / hike / jog. They are also well kept, and trimmed back. The playground off Schoolhouse Road is very modern, and always busy.
Read moreMercer County Park is simply a great park. The trails are great for walking, biking, jogging and more. The tennis courts are beautiful, and well kept. The dog park is fun for dogs and there pets. Do you kayak or paddle? If so, head out onto the lake for a relaxing time. With all the scheduled events and special shows, there is always something fun going on in Mercer County park.
